Job summary

Downer is seeking a Part Time Public Realm Cleaner in Sydney to join our cleaning team at the International Convention Centre. The role runs Monday to Friday, 6am to 11am, reporting to the Public Realm Supervisor to deliver high-quality cleaning outcomes for visitors.

You will operate ride-on scrubbers and sweepers, perform detailed cleaning, manage waste, and maintain public areas to the site’s standards. A driver’s licence is required and a strong work ethic is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating cleaning equipment such as ride-on scrubber, sweeper, walk behind buffing machines and pressure washer.
• Experience in commercial/industrial cleaning domain is preferred.
• Exceptional personal presentation.
• Must have an Australian Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Operating ride on sweeper, ride on scrubber to clean pavers and use high pressure washer to remove stains.
• Waste removal - picking up rubbish, emptying bins, removing sharps & contaminated waste.
• Detail Cleaning & washing - low & high reach areas, fixtures, fittings, windows, vents & walls.
• Public Realm Areas - entrances & car park thorough fares.
• Ensuring that cleaning tasks are completed to established cleaning standards.

We currently have an opportunity for Part Time Cleaner. Join our Government and Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in keeping public areas clean and promoting a positive image of the site to visitors. Reporting to the Public Realm Supervisor, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

Monday - Friday. 6am-11am

What You'll Do (key responsibilities)
