Job summary

Blacktown City Council in New South Wales seeks an experienced Cleaner/Driver to join our Building Construction and Maintenance team. In this hands-on role, you will keep Council facilities clean, safe and ready for use while safely transporting cleaning staff between sites.

You will work across a range of Council buildings, cleaning offices, toilets, kitchens, meeting rooms and public areas, and you will support the smooth delivery of cleaning services across the city.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial cleaning and maintenance environments.
• Ability to manage time and priorities across sites.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, toilets, kitchens, lunch rooms, meeting rooms and public areas.
• Vacuum, mop and buff floors; empty bins; refill amenities and clean windows.
• Support safe transport of cleaning staff between sites and assist with coordinating cleaning services.
