Job summary

Blacktown City Council in New South Wales seeks an experienced Cleaner/Driver to join our Building Construction and Maintenance team. In this hands-on role, you will keep Council facilities clean, safe and ready for use while safely transporting cleaning staff between sites.

You will work across a range of Council buildings, cleaning offices, toilets, kitchens, meeting rooms and public areas, and you will support the smooth delivery of cleaning services across the city.

Blacktown City Council is looking for an experienced Cleaner/Driver to join our Building Construction and Maintenance team. In this hands on role, you help keep Council facilities clean, safe and ready for use while safely transporting cleaning staff between sites.

You work across a range of Council buildings throughout the day. You clean offices, toilets, kitchens, lunch rooms, meeting rooms and public areas. You vacuum carpets, mop and buff floors, empty rubbish and recycling bins, refill amenities, clean windows and help set up rooms for meetings and functions. You also drive team members to different locations and support the smooth delivery of cleaning services across the city.

Your work helps create safe, hygienic and welcoming environments for staff, visitors and the community. Every clean facility supports the day to day services people rely on. The results are easy to see through well presented buildings, functional community spaces and healthy workplaces.
