Roshana Amaroo Aged Care in the Hunter Valley area is seeking a Housekeeper/Cleaner in a casual capacity. You will maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, supporting health, wellbeing and dignity with attention to detail.

The role requires previous cleaning experience, reliability, and a focus on infection control. Training and supportive leadership are offered to help you grow within the team.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in aged care, healthcare, or commercial settings.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control practices (or willingness to learn).
• A National Police Clearance or NDIS Screening Check, or willingness to obtain this.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and general cleaning duties.
• Ensure infection control and hygiene standards are always met.
• Manage waste disposal and restocking of supplies.
• Support a safe, tidy, and homely environment for residents and staff.
• Follow cleaning schedules and facility procedures.
• Work cooperatively with the broader care team.

We are looking for Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our aged care team at Roshana Amaroo Aged Care, in a Casual capacity.

About the Role

As a Housekeeper/Cleaner, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. Your work directly supports the health, wellbeing, and dignity of those in our care. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where attention to detail and pride in your work make a real difference every day.

What You Will Be Doing
