Job summary

Roshana Care Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the aged care team at Roshana Amaroo Aged Care in the Hunter Valley in a casual capacity. The RN will deliver safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care, guiding and supporting care staff in a fast‑paced environment while focusing on residents’ dignity and quality of life.

Ideal candidates will hold AHPRA registration, a Bachelor of Nursing, and experience in aged care or a similar clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.
• Experience in aged care or a similar clinical setting is highly regarded.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Compassionate, calm, and professional approach to care.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commitment to person‑centred care and continuous improvement.
• A National Police Clearance or NDIS Screening Check, or willingness to obtain this.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care in line with best practice and aged care standards.
• Conduct assessments, develop and review care plans with the multidisciplinary team.
• Administer medications, treatments and complex care interventions safely and accurately.
• Monitor, interpret and respond to changes in residents’ health conditions.
• Lead, support and mentor care staff to ensure high standards of resident care.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and reporting.
• Promote dignity, respect and person‑centred care.

We are looking for Registered Nurses to join our aged care team at Roshana Amaroo Aged Care, in a Casual capacity. Previous aged care experience is highly regarded, and we welcome nurses who are passionate about providing safe, compassionate and person‑centred care.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a key clinical leader within our aged care team, responsible for delivering safe, high‑quality, and person‑centred care to our residents.
