Oaks Lake Crackenback Resort, part of Minor Hotels, is expanding its housekeeping team with casual opportunities. We are seeking dedicated individuals who take pride in ensuring guest rooms are spotless, with attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset.

Training on safety and cleaning processes is provided, and shifts include weekends and public holidays. Responsibilities include thorough cleaning of rooms, adherence to schedules, and maintaining a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
• Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

• Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.

• Using specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively - with all training and tools provided.
• Building strong, professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to help foster a positive, respectful work environment.

Oaks Lake Crackenback Resort is excited to expand our housekeeping department, with multiple casual opportunities now available.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.

Shift Details (subject to change)

• Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
• Shifts starting between 8:00 am and 9.00am

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation)

• Monday - Friday: $33.85 per hour
• Saturday: $40.62 per hour
• Sunday: $47.39 per hour
