Oaks Adelaide Horizons Suites, part of Minor Hotels, is hiring casual housekeeping team members to help deliver exceptional guest experiences in Adelaide. You will clean guest rooms to high standards, make beds, vacuum, and maintain bathrooms with care.

Shifts run across mornings and weekends with hourly rates from 33.85 to 47.39 AUD, plus training and staff benefits. We value reliable, detail‑oriented people who work well in a team and are flexible with hours.

Formación

• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles preferred.
• Attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of safe handling of cleaning chemicals; training provided.
• Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong communication with guests, team members and contractors.
• Good time management and prioritization.
• Positive, proactive work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.

Oaks Adelaide Horizons Suites is excited to expand our housekeeping department, with multiple casual opportunities now available.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
• Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
• Collaborating with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
• Adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Using specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively - with all training and tools provided.
• Building strong, professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to help foster a positive, respectful work environment.

Shift Details (subject to change)

• Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
• Shifts starting between 8:00 am and 9.00am

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation)

• Monday - Friday: $33.85 per hour
• Saturday: $40.62 per hour
• Sunday: $47.39 per hour

Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
• Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
