Job summary

Bolton Clarke Group is hiring a cleaner for Pemulwuy Aged Care, near Sydney. You will join a team dedicated to residents, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across the facility and supporting infection control practices.

Successful candidates have a background in aged care or hotel services, are reliable, flexible with shifts, and hold valid Australian working rights. Pre-employment checks including a National Police Check are required.

Qualifications

• Previous aged care or hotel services experience desirable.
• Willingness to take direction from others.
• Reliability and shift flexibility.
• Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc).
• Pre employment checks - complete a National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times
• Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors
• Dusting, polishing and general tidying
• Cleaning bathroom facilities
• Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room
• Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
• Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required
