Job summary

Bolton Clarke is seeking an attentive Housekeeping role within our aged care facilities in Melbourne. You will contribute to a model of care by maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents and their families.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident areas, bathrooms and common spaces, supporting infection control practices and restocking supplies, while demonstrating reliability and flexibility across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care or hotel services desirable.
• Willingness to take direction from others.
• Reliability and shift flexibility.
• Good time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc).
• Pre employment checks – complete a National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times.
• Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors.
• Cleaning bathroom facilities.
• Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment located in residents' room.
• Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
• Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required.
