BaptistCare NSW/ACT - Aged Care is seeking a casual Laundry Assistant / Cleaner at Glendale Lodge, Elderslie NSW. You will help with cleaning and laundry to support 24-hour aged care operations and resident well-being.

About the Role:

Located at Elderslie, Baptistcare Glendale Lodge is a welcoming and homely aged care home offering 24-hour, care and support to residents.

As a Cleaner & Laundry Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient operation of our Residential Aged Care facility by ensuring all areas are clean, sanitary, and safe for our residents.

We offer a competitive salary based on your previous experience from$27.77 - $31.36/hr + superannuation + penalties + salary packaging.

As a Laundry Assistant / Cleaner, your duties will include:

Cleaning Duties

• Cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and staff spaces
• Following cleaning schedules and organisational policies
• Maintaining high standards of infection control, hygiene, and workplace safetyCompleting required documentation and checklists

Laundry Duties

• Collecting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing residents’ clothing and linen
• Operating and maintaining laundry equipment safely
• Ensuring laundry is handled respectfully and in accordance with infection control guidelines
• Supporting the smooth operation of the laundry area to meet residents’ needs

About You:
