Job summary

Laurel Group is seeking energetic, customer-focused cleaners to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis in Australia. This entry-level role focuses on delivering high-quality cleaning services across client sites.

Responsibilities include waste disposal, toilet and kitchen cleaning, floor care, dusting, window cleaning, and upholding Occupational Health and Safety standards. A current National Police Check and sight of valid work rights in Australia are required.

Qualifications

• Experience not required for entry-level role.
• Ability to read, write and understand basic instructions.

Responsibilities

• Waste collection, segregation and disposal.
• Toilet cleaning and cleaning of kitchen areas.
• Litter collection and cleaning around building perimeters.
• Responding to ad-hoc cleaning requests (spills, etc).
• Hard floor cleaning and high/low dusting.
• Full blade window cleaning.
• Use of heavy-duty cleaning equipment as required.
• Maintain high attention to detail and quality outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with staff and clients.
• Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety practices.

We have a number of very long-term clients and are currently pursuing new contracts, which has resulted in the recent award of several new, high-profile contracts. As a result, a number of opportunities are now available for experienced, customer focused cleaners to join our team.

Working within a friendly team, our cleaners are responsible for a range of cleaning tasks, working to agreed schedules to deliver a high-quality standard of work, whilst acting as a customer service ambassador for our client. Specific responsibilities may include some or all of the following:

• Collection, segregation, and disposal of waste
• Toilet Cleaning
• Cleaning of kitchens areas
• Litter collection and cleaning around building perimeters
• Responding to ad-hoc cleaning requests (spills etc.)
• Hard floor cleaning
• Low & High Dusting
• Full blade window cleaning
• Heavy duty cleaning equipment
• High level of attention to detail
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills
• Able to communicate with all internal and external staff
• Awareness of Occupational Health and Safety practices
• Commitment to delivering quality outcomes
• Have current national police check or ability to obtain one
