Job summary

Anglicare seeks a dedicated Cleaner for our Residential Care community in Woonona. The casual, part-time role supports a safe, hygienic and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and staff. You will perform daily cleaning across rooms and shared spaces, while upholding infection prevention and safety standards.

Two years of cleaning or laundry experience is preferred, with opportunities for ongoing shifts. NDIS screening is required or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cleaning or laundry experience.
• 1–2 years following safe work practices.
• NDIS Worker screening check (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred: 1–2 years in aged care, healthcare or hospitality environments.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily cleaning duties across resident rooms, common areas and facilities.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and infection prevention.
• Clean bathrooms, laundries, kitchenettes, corridors and shared living spaces.
• Vacuum, mop, dust and maintain furniture, fixtures and fittings.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report stock requirements.
