Job summary

St Michael's Catholic Parish Primary, Nowra seeks dedicated Classroom Teachers to support faith formation and growth in student learning across K–6. Temporary full-time and part-time positions are available, commencing late January 2027 and concluding January 2028, with a focus on safe, inclusive classrooms and strong collaboration with the school community.

Applicants should hold NSW teaching accreditation, be prepared to teach Religious Education and work within the Catholic Education Diocese

Classroom Teachers St Michael's Catholic Parish Primary, NowraNowra, NSW, AU

Several temporary full time and part time K-6 teaching positions are available at St Michael's Catholic Parish Primary School, Nowra. The temporary positions will commence on 28 January 2027 until 26 January 2028.

The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential.

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA

• Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
• Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.
• Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning across all Key Learning Areas.
• Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Appropriate qualifications for teaching Primary K–6.
• Accredited Level D to teach Religious Education in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain this level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.
• The applicant must be accredited with NESA to teach in NSW.

This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
