Job summary

Diocese of Ballarat Catholic Education Limited in Warrnambool seeks a dedicated teacher for a 12 month contract. The role will operate in a shared class arrangement on Thursdays and Fridays, emphasizing Catholic identity and inclusive practice.

This role will be in a shared class arrangement, working on Thursdays and Fridays

• Ensure the delivery of curriculum that reaches and engages students with a diverse range of educational abilities and backgrounds;

Key Selection Criteria-

• Understanding and Commitment to Catholic Identity and Mission;
• Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (or be eligible for registration);
• A current or be willing to obtain an Accreditation to teach Religious Education Certificate;
• Demonstrated high- level knowledge of Victorian Curriculum and the AITSL standards with best practice, evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning;
• Evidence of effective strategies for fostering a safe and positive classroom environment;
• Experience collaborating effectively with colleagues in planning, instruction, and assessment.
