• Strong behaviour management practices
• Curriculum knowledge in all areas including Health and Physical Education – Movement and Physical Activity and ability to engage students in inclusive ways in this area of the curriculum.
• Ability to administrate whole school sporting events, organise external sporting events and interschool events with strong understanding of compliance and risk management.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic classrom teacher who is able to collaborate with others as part of a specialist team working towards improving learning outcomes for all students in their care. A passion for outdoor education and an understanding of catering to a diverse community is essential.

Special Requirements

• accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is desirable.
• be committed to child safety, to maintaining best practices to ensure this and to ongoing evaluation of these practices
• have read and be committed to maintaining the standards as set out in our Child Safe Code of Conduct
• have read, and be aware of, the attached statement on the 'Principles Regarding Catholic Education' and our Privacy statement
• hold a current VIT registration
