Job summary

St John Vianney’s is seeking an enthusiastic and suitably qualified teacher for a classroom teaching position (1 FTE), for 2027. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to Catholic Education, strong interpersonal and organisational skills, and the ability to use data to inform teaching and learning.

A sound knowledge of Religious Education for the primary school and proficiency with Google applications are desirable; experience with EAL learners is valued.

• knowledge in the Science of Learning and Science of Reading (favourable but not essential)

• the skills and abilities to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience
• the ability to use data to inform teaching and learning
• sound knowledge and understanding of Religious Education within the Primary School
• competent skills and pedagogy around Google applications

• the ability to build positive supportive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
• initiative and a commitment to ongoing Professional Learning
• an understanding and commitment to Child Safety.
