Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum and embedding literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies and evaluating impact.
• Experience monitoring and assessing learning with data-informed feedback.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, parents and staff.
• Behaviours aligned with department values and commitment to professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or other program.
• Undertaking other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal.
• Participating in activities such as parent/teacher meetings; staff meetings; camps and excursions.
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
