Job summary

St. Patrick's School in Victoria invites applications for an Art teacher to deliver Foundation to Grade 6 lessons on Thursdays during term. The role requires commitment to Catholic identity and a strong classroom practice aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.

Qualifications

  • Understanding and Commitment to Catholic Identity and Mission.
  • Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (or be eligible for registration).
  • A current or be willing to obtain an Accreditation to teach Religious Education Certificate.
  • Demonstrated high- level knowledge of Victorian Curriculum and the AITSL standards with best practice, evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning.
  • Evidence of effective strategies for fostering a safe and positive classroom environment.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with colleagues in planning, instruction, and assessment.

About the Role

This role will provide art lessons to all classes at the school (Foundation to Grade 6), delivered on Thursdays during term.

  • To provide students with a rich and engaging educational experience;

  • Ensure the delivery of curriculum that reaches and engages students with a diverse range of educational abilities and backgrounds;
