St Michael's Catholic Primary School Stanmore invites applications for a Classroom Teacher. You will inspire students through engaging, student-centred teaching within a Catholic learning environment and contribute to a welcoming school community.

You will hold a tertiary Education qualification with NESA accreditation, demonstrate strong classroom management, inclusive teaching practices, and a commitment to ongoing professional learning within Sydney Catholic Schools.

About You

As a Classroom Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:

• a commitment to the mission and ethos of Catholic education
• relevant teaching qualifications and accreditation, with demonstrated professional competence and a commitment to ongoing professional learning
• the ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to a professional learning community focused on improving student outcomes
• strong classroom management skills and a commitment to supporting student wellbeing
• a demonstrated understanding of diverse learning needs pedagogy and inclusive learning practices
• an understanding of the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) of students with a disability is desirable
• a proven ability to use data informed practices to design, implement and evaluate intensive, highly modified educational programs for students requiring additional support
• effective communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage positively with parents, carers, and the broader school community
• a creative and innovative approach to teaching, supported by highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
• a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
• Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as perAccreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
