Job summary

Diocese of Ballarat Catholic Education Limited in Victoria seeks a full-time classroom teacher for a fixed-term 12-month contract in a collaborative team. The year level is yet to be determined.

The successful applicant will engage in professional learning experiences to grow and contribute to a Catholic school community, delivering inclusive curriculum while prioritising safety and wellbeing. Applicants must have VIT registration (or be eligible) and Accreditation to teach Religious Education;

• Understanding and Commitment to Catholic Identity and Mission
• Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (or be eligible for registration)
• Evidence of the Accreditation to teach Religious Education Certificate
• Evidence of effective strategies for fostering a safe and positive classroom environment
• Commit to collaborating effectively with colleagues in planning, instruction and assessment
• Commit to respecting others and caring for the world that we live in

Job description

Fixed Term 12 months

This role will be a full time classroom teacher position working in a collaborative team environment. The year level is yet to be determined. The successful applicant will be given opportunities to grow and develop through profession learning experiences, allowing them to be informed and make decisions to benefit the members of our school community.
