Radius Recycling is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to transport equipment and materials to and from production areas, docks, and customers. You will operate tractors and trucks, perform inspections, and maintain logs in compliance with DOT regulations.

The role requires 24 months of recent Class A experience, adherence to safety standards, and proficient use of electronic logs and dispatch systems. Candidates must be able to work varied hours with potential weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Medical certificate and ability to renew the certificate.
• 24 months of verifiable Class A driving experience within the last 5 years.
• No more than two moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No more than one preventable accident in the last 3 years.
• Must be registered in the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Ability to use automated systems for logs, training, or other duties.
• PSP report acceptable with review of violations.

Responsabilités

• Move freight and materials to and from production areas, docks, delivery vehicles, ships, and containers.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions with guidance.
• Secure materials for transport using appropriate restraints.
• Receive dispatch instructions and proceed to delivery or receipt of material.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and readiness of vehicles.
• Maintain logs of hours, vehicle service, and repairs per regulations.
• Obtain receipts/signatures and verify documentation.
• Provide backup support throughout the yard as needed.
