TAL is recruiting for multiple permanent, full-time Claims roles based in our Sydney office, with the flexibility to work from home 2 days per week. You will join a supportive team, gain hands-on experience in claims management, and contribute to delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

Qualifications

• A keen interest in life insurance and claims management.
• Degree qualification or nearing completion in Finance, Legal, Allied Health, or Teaching.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with empathy and professionalism.
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the TAL Claims team.
• Previous experience in financial services or administrative role is a bonus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support Claims Consultants with administrative tasks on claim assessments.
• Follow up on ongoing claim requirements including medical reports and financial documents.
• Summarise and manage claims documentation.
• Draft letters to customers and manage communications on time.
• Assist with claim closures, data corrections, and general workflow in the claims system.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls and support stakeholders including advisers and fund administrators.
• Contribute to process improvements and participate in team projects.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of TAL processes and policies.
