Job summary

Rockhampton Regional Council is seeking motivated Traffic Controllers to join our civil team in Rockhampton. This outdoor role involves pre-site checks, directing traffic, and supporting construction crews to protect the public and your teammates.

You'll work on important civil projects in a tight-knit crew, with a 76 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight schedule, and a pro rata salary of AU$73,809 per annum plus superannuation. A Criminal History Check is required.

Qualifications

• Be a Queensland Accredited Traffic Controller and hold a Valid Traffic Controller Industry Authority Card.
• Proven experience in traffic control.
• Traffic Management Implementation and/or ability to obtain.
• First Aid Certificate and/ or willingness to obtain.
• Hold a Construction Industry Induction (White Card)

Responsibilities

• From pre-site checks to supporting construction crews, you'll play a key role in protecting the public and your teammates.
• This hands-on, outdoor role will have you working on important civil projects as part of a tight-knit crew.
• Direct traffic, set up signs and control measures, and help maintain safety on site.
• Wages are paid fortnightly and you will be supported by a values-driven culture.
