Job summary

DT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor for the Smoky Creek Solar Farm project in Queensland. You will oversee day-to-day civil works, managing crews, subcontractors and resources on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Brisbane to Rockhampton with full camp accommodation and a 20% site uplift.

You’ll coordinate plant, labour and materials, support tracker installation, ensure safety and quality, and work closely with the Civil Superintendent and Construction Manager to keep works moving

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or equivalent, Construction White Card and a valid driver’s licence.
• 10+ years’ construction experience with supervisory leadership.
• Background in civil construction; exposure to renewable energy or major infrastructure.
• Ability to lead workforces and coordinate plant, labour and materials.
• Ability to interpret technical specs, plans and drawings and resolve issues in the field.
• Strong leadership, planning and communication skills with a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day civil construction activities, crews and subcontractors to meet safety, quality and programme targets.
• Coordinate plant, labour, materials and subcontract resources with daily/weekly priorities.
• Oversee civil works supporting tracker systems and solar infrastructure.
• Monitor progress, resolve site and technical issues with Superintendent and Construction Manager.
• Lead pre-starts and toolbox meetings, promoting safety and high performance.
• Support planning, scheduling, cost control, ITPs and reporting to stay aligned with project requirements.
