Job summary

Evolve Talent is seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to join a growing civil construction team delivering projects across Brisbane and South East Queensland. This hands-on role requires running a civil site, coordinating crews and subcontractors, and ensuring safety and quality as projects progress.

You will oversee roadworks, earthworks, drainage and underground utilities, plan sequencing, and maintain site records while liaising with project managers, engineers and clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor, Site Supervisor, General Foreperson or experienced Civil Foreperson.
• Strong experience across roads, pipelines, drainage and/or underground utilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

The Role

As Civil Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the day‑to‑day delivery of civil construction works, working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Foremen, subcontractors and clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising daily civil construction activities and site crews.

• Coordinating labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.

• Planning and sequencing works to maintain project schedules.

• Supervising roadworks, earthworks, drainage and underground services.

• Overseeing water, sewer and stormwater pipeline installation.

• Reading and interpreting civil drawings, specifications and construction plans.

• Monitoring productivity, quality and project progress.

• Ensuring works are completed safely and in accordance with project requirements.

• Managing site issues and providing practical solutions.

• Maintaining daily site records, quality documentation and reporting.

• Liaising with Project Managers, Engineers, clients and subcontractors.

• Leading and developing crews to maintain a productive and positive site culture.

About You

You're a hands‑on Civil Supervisor who takes pride in getting the job done properly.

You'll ideally have:

• Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor, Site Supervisor, General Foreperson or experienced Civil Foreperson.

• Strong experience across roads, pipelines, drainage and/or underground utilities.

• Experience working on civil infrastructure, subdivisions, council works or major civil projects.

• A strong understanding of civil construction methodologies and sequencing.

• The ability to read plans and understand project specifications.

• Experience coordinating crews, subcontractors, plant and materials.

• Strong safety and quality awareness.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• A practical, solutions‑focused approach to construction.

• Relevant Queensland construction tickets and qualifications.

You’ll be working across a variety of civil infrastructure projects throughout Brisbane and South East Queensland.
