Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Shift Supervisor with a civil background to lead site operations on a Defence infrastructure project in Australia. You will supervise civil and structural activities, coordinate subcontractors and materials, and ensure safety, quality and environmental compliance on site.

The role requires proven supervisory experience on infrastructure projects, strong leadership and the ability to drive performance while adhering to Defence standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Supervisor role across civil and structural scopes on infrastructure or building projects.
• Strong understanding of site-based construction delivery, quality and safety systems.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Australian Citizenship and eligibility to obtain Baseline Security Clearance due to Defence requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil and structural construction activities in line with program, safety, quality & environmental requirements
• Coordinate subcontractors, plant and materials to ensure efficient site operations
• Conduct site inspections and maintain daily reporting and records
• Ensure compliance with Defence standards, specifications and quality systems
• Act as a safety ambassador on site, promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring full compliance with health and safety requirements
• Monitor progress and assist with planning and sequencing of works
• Track site activities and costs, ensuring works are delivered in line with the approved budget and identifying any variances
• Contribute to risk management, issue resolution and continuous improvement on site
