Job summary

Civil Services Group in Queensland is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support construction of major infrastructure projects along the Gin Gin to Rockhampton corridor. You will work under supervision of the Project Manager/Contract Manager and contribute to delivering time, cost and quality objectives.

The role requires a civil engineering degree, strong communication, knowledge of DTMR policies and road/bridge construction, and flexibility for shifts.

Qualifications

Civil Engineering degree required and recognised by Engineers Australia.
Experience on civil roads infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of DTMR policies and road/bridge design principles.
Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Commitment to WHS and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

Assist in the effective management of infrastructure projects to time, cost and quality objectives.
Monitor and report on progress, foreseeing problems and implementing corrective actions.
Maintain project quality standards in consultation with clients and monitor inputs.
Assist with project budgets, cash flows and funding arrangements.
Assist with project and resource scheduling and allocation.
Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment in line with policies and laws.
