Job summary

WYNCO is seeking reliable, safety-conscious workers with civil road construction experience in Queensland. The role involves general civil labouring, assisting with road works, earthworks, drainage and trenching, and operating plant with valid tickets.

A White Card and a valid licence are required, with roller tickets a strong advantage. Immediate start available with ongoing projects and travel allowances.

Qualifications

• Current Construction White Card required.
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
• Experience in civil construction or roadworks preferred.
• Roller ticket advantageous; other plant tickets beneficial.

Responsibilities

• General civil labouring, manual handling and site duties.
• Assist with road construction, maintenance and rehabilitation works.
• Support earthworks, drainage, trenching and excavation activities.
• Operate plant and equipment including rollers and excavators as tickets allow.

Job description

We are looking for reliable, safety-conscious workers with experience in civil road construction, road maintenance, earthworks and general civil infrastructure. Experience working on road projects is highly regarded, and roller tickets will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• General civil labouring, manual handling and site duties.
• Assisting with road construction, maintenance and rehabilitation works.
• Supporting earthworks, drainage, trenching and excavation activities.
• Operating plant and equipment, including rollers, excavators, water carts and Skid steers - based on holding relevant tickets.
• Working safely around mobile plant and other site personnel.
• Maintaining site safety and following WHS procedures.

Requirements

• Current Construction White Card.
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
• Previous civil construction or roadworks experience.
• Experience working on roads and road maintenance projects highly regarded.
• Roller ticket advantageous.
• Other relevant plant tickets beneficial.
• Full PPE and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
