Job summary

Protech on the Gold Coast is seeking a Civil Project Systems Representative focused on quality assurance and project systems. The role is site-based with a 60% site office and 40% field work, collaborating closely with Project Managers, Supervisors and crews to ensure adherence to specifications, quality requirements and client expectations.

Ideal candidates include experienced civil construction professionals moving into quality-focused roles, or undergraduates/graduates seeking hands-on site

Qualifications

• Construction Industry White Card required.
• Current C Class Driver Licence required.
• Strong communication and written reporting skills required.
• Competent using tablets and digital reporting systems.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Understanding of quality procedures and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing and maintaining project quality systems and procedures.
• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks on civil construction works.
• Interpret construction drawings, specifications and inspection test plans.
• Complete quality documentation, checklists and reports using digital platforms and iPads.
• Assist with the management of project resources to ensure operational efficiency.
• Coordinate activities of subcontractors, suppliers and internal resources to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Assist with identifying project risks and implementing quality requirements prior to commencing activities.
• Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with specifications and project requirements.
• Review project processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support Project Managers and Supervisors with project planning and delivery.
• Assist with supplier and material quality verification.
• Maintain effective communication across project teams and stakeholders.
• Support the development and implementation of project plans and quality processes.
