Job summary

The Torrens to Darlington Alliance in Adelaide is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to manage a defined section of works on the North-South Corridor, coordinating with site teams and subcontractors to meet time, cost, quality and safety targets.

You will actively engage with designers, lead development of work methods, maintain risk registers, ensure progressive quality and drive lookahead programmes, KPIs and cost control across the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated experience as a Project Engineer on major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety systems and contracts.
• Collaborative, proactive and outcomes‑focused with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Participate in prestart meetings with subcontractors and crews.
• Review design packages with designers and update work methods.
• Maintain risk registers and use information for planning.
• Ensure quality inspections are integrated and timely.
• Develop detailed day‑to‑day and lookahead programmes with resources and deliveries.
• Track KPIs and support safety walks and improvements.
• Contribute to cost control including accruals and budgeting.
