Job summary

Niepe Constructions, part of the BMD Group, is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Perth-based Niepe team. You will deliver civil infrastructure and structural packages, focusing on reinforced concrete, FRP systems and specialist construction methods on-site and across planning and coordination tasks.

You will review drawings, manage ITPs/SWMS, and coordinate with internal teams, client reps, and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient project outcomes. FIFO across WA may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer in civil construction.
• Strong background in structures and reinforced concrete.
• Exposure to FRP strengthening or specialist materials is highly regarded.
• Experience with QA/QC, ITPs and SWMS.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work across FIFO Perth/WA.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver structural and civil construction activities per project programs.
• Prepare, review and implement ITPs, SWMS and project methodologies.
• Provide technical engineering support across structures, including concrete and FRP.
• Review drawings and design documentation; resolve technical queries.
• Monitor progress, costs and quality against targets.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site interfaces.
• Support procurement activities and material tracking.
• Ensure safety, environmental and quality standards are met.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate testing.
• Build relationships with internal teams and client reps.
