Job summary

AWCON seeks a Project Engineer to join our team on surface and underground civil projects, including FRP, concrete works and remote FIFO mining sites. You will coordinate project activities, manage technical and QA requirements, and support on-site delivery with Project Managers and site crews.

Qualifications

• Civil or Structural Engineering degree required.
• 5+ years in project engineering with underground exposure.
• Experience delivering FRP and concrete works.
• Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple work fronts and autonomous decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Drive project delivery safely, on time and on budget.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Supervisors to optimise sequencing.
• Provide technical problem solving and on-site support.
• Manage documentation, QA and compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractors, crews, materials and resources.
• Build relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Identify smarter, faster and more efficient delivery methods.
