Job summary

City of Moreton Bay in Narangba is seeking an experienced plant operator to run a 12 tonne roller and other medium-sized machinery. You will interchange as required, carry out pre-start checks, and support road and drainage maintenance with a safety-first approach.

Applicants should hold a HR licence, LR roller certification, and a Construction Induction Card, plus relevant licences for additional equipment. This role offers full-time hours, a 12-month trial, and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a 12 tonne roller and related plant.
• Current HR heavy vehicle licence and LR roller certification.
• Construction Induction Card (White Card) and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Operate 12 tonne roller and other medium plant as required.
• Switch between machines (roller, backhoe, grader, tractor) with licencing.
• Conduct daily pre-start inspections of equipment.
• Report defects or safety concerns for machinery and projects.
• Assist in road and drainage maintenance activities.
