Grounds Maintenance Australia – Bacchus Marsh VIC is seeking an experienced Civil Operations Supervisor to lead projects from start to finish across public spaces, industrial sites, and civil works. The role combines hands-on leadership with on-site supervision of crews, plant and subcontractors to deliver safe, on-time, high-quality results.

You will coordinate activities, mentor staff, operate heavy machinery, and ensure compliance with plans, specs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experienced, hands-on Civil Supervisor/Foreman with civil construction background.
• Proven ability to lead crews, subcontractors and daily site operations.
• Skilled in bulk earthworks, landscaping, remediation and general civil works.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise civil, landscape, bulk earthworks and site remediation projects.
• Coordinate daily site activities, labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Supervise and mentor operators, labourers and other site personnel.
• Operate multiple types of heavy machinery as required, including 30T+ excavators, loaders, skid steers, dozers, graders, rollers, dump trucks and specialised attachments.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications and site documentation.
