Job summary

Egis is seeking a Maintenance Crew member for civil works across Sydney's Southern Network. You will perform routine and urgent maintenance to keep motorway assets safe, clean and serviceable, and support the Maintenance Supervisor on site.

Roles operate on a rotating roster with night closures to provide 24/7 coverage. A strong focus on WHS, environmental requirements, and teamwork is essential for success in this critical infrastructure environment.

Qualifications

• Civil construction and maintenance experience, including landscaping.
• Practical problem-solving skills, a strong customer and results focus, and ability to work effectively as part of a crew.
• Thorough understanding of and commitment to WHS and environmental requirements.
• Current unrestricted NSW driver’s licence and licences or tickets appropriate to assigned activities.
• Mandatory training: Construction White Card; SWMS; maintenance reporting software; First Aid incl. defibrillator/ CPR; Confined Space Awareness; Hazardous Materials Awareness; Working safely at heights and EWP 11 m; Fatigue Management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain routine and urgent civil maintenance to keep motorway and tunnel assets safe, clean and serviceable.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor through site inspections, landscaping, cleaning, incident clean-up and traffic control.
• Operate to a rotating roster accommodating maintenance activities and night closures for 24/7 asset coverage.
