Job summary

Protech Darwin is seeking skilled Civil Operators for ongoing roles across major projects in the Darwin region. Positions include Excavator (GPS), Loader, Roller, Dozer, Grader, Water Cart, Moxy and HC-MC Truck Drivers with local or FIFO arrangements.

Strong hourly rates, penalties, meal and travel allowances are on offer. Candidates must have minimum 2 years civil plant experience, relevant tickets, White Card, a valid driver’s licence, and a safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating plant on civil construction projects (minimum 2yrs experience).
• Relevant plant tickets.
• Current White Card.
• Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable transport.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screen.
• Ability to obtain a Police Check is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery safely and efficiently on Civil Construction projects.
• Perform bulk and detailed earthworks.
• Contribute to road construction and subdivision works.
• Carry out pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance.
• Work closely with Supervisors and Civil Crews.
• Maintain site safety and project standards.
