Job summary

PROTECH Darwin is recruiting Warehouse Labourers for ongoing civil projects across Darwin and the Northern Territory. Based locally, you will join a team manufacturing precast concrete products for infrastructure, mining, road works and major projects.

Expect steady hours (50–54 per week) with potential for long-term permanent roles and both local and away work. Training is provided for cranes and lifting equipment, with safety and quality a priority.

Qualifications

• White Card
• Welding and/or patching experience (preferable)
• Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
• Previous Civil Labouring experience preferred – Plant Tickets desirable
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to pass a urine Drug and Alcohol test and potentially a Police Check

Responsibilities

• Assist in the manufacture of precast concrete products used across civil infrastructure, mining, road construction and major projects.
• Pouring, finishing and curing concrete products.
• Stripping and preparing moulds for production.
• Operating overhead cranes and lifting equipment (training provided).
• General labouring and housekeeping duties.
• Cleaning and maintaining work areas and equipment.
• Supporting quality control processes.
• Following safe work procedures and site requirements.

Protech Darwin is currently seeking reliable and hardworking Warehouse Labourers for ongoing work across a range of major Civil Projects throughout Darwin and the Northern Territory.

We partner with well established Civil contractors delivering Subdivisions, Drainage Works, Road Projects, and Large Scale Infrastructure. Opportunities are available for local and away work, with strong hours and a solid pipeline of projects ahead.

Your Role

• As a Warehouse Labourer, you will work as part of a team manufacturing precast concrete products used across civil infrastructure, mining, road construction, and major projects throughout the Northern Territory.
  Your duties may include:
  • Assisting in the manufacture of precast concrete pipes, culverts, pits and other civil products
  • Pouring, finishing and curing concrete products
  • Stripping and preparing moulds for production
  • Operating overhead cranes and lifting equipment (training provided)
  • General labouring and housekeeping duties
  • Cleaning and maintaining work areas and equipment
  • Supporting quality control processes
  • Following safe work procedures and site requirements

• $36.57 – $38.00 per hour + penalties
• Major long term Civil projects
• Local and away work available
• Temp to permanent opportunities
• Consistent hours and strong pipeline (50-54 hours per week)
