Job summary

Sunshine Civil Solutions is seeking a civil Leading Hand to support project teams delivering local infrastructure on the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas.

You will bring strong earthworks, roadworks and concreting knowledge, with a focus on safety, team leadership and delivering outcomes on time and to spec.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated Leading Hand experience on civil construction projects (infrastructure or land development).
• Strong knowledge of earthworks, roadworks, concreting and services.
• Commitment to safety and Safe Work practices on site.
• Experience working on live roads with traffic control and reduced disruption.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise civil teams on local infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers and subcontractors to hit milestones.
• Champion safety, quality and environmental standards on site.

We have an outstanding opportunity for a civil Leading Hand to support our project teams delivering local civil infrastructure projects. This opportunity will ideally suit candidates with a sound knowledge of earthworks, roadworks, concrete and drainage. Training will be provided by an experienced Supervisor and Project Engineer to ensure your success.

About You:

Demonstrated experience as a leading hand on civil construction projects in both infrastructure and land development.

An in-depth knowledge and experience in earthworks, roadworks, concreting and services, together with a drive for safety, environment, team leadership and the ability to deliver projects to agreed outcomes.

Experience working on live roads and under traffic control

Furthermore, you will have;

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Construction Industry Card (White / Blue)

Current Driver Licence

A strong commitment to OHS and Safe Work Practices
