Job summary

WorkPac Group's client in Southeast Queensland is seeking a Civil Labourer/Pipelayer Offsider in Brisbane. The role runs Monday to Friday, starting at 6:30 AM, with 9.5/10/5 hour days on road and infrastructure projects.

You will assist pipe and drainage crews, prep trenches, handle sandbags, and help install safety fencing and temporary works. A valid white construction card and driver's licence are essential, with at least 9 months civil construction experience.

• Minimum 9 months civil construction experience.
• Valid Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and a positive attitude.
• White construction card is required.

Responsibilities

• Work on various road and infrastructure projects.
• Assist pipe/drainage crew with various duties.
• Fill sandbags.
• Prep trenches for pipe installation.
• Operate demolition equipment (saws, jackhammers, drills) to cut and break up concrete or pavement.
• Install and remove temporary fencing, traffic barriers, safety fencing, silt fencing and other safety/environmental controls.
• Unload materials and prepare for the next day.
• Construct concrete structures such as manholes, chambers, pits, headwalls.

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Civil Labourer/Pipelayer Offsider you will be required to work Monday-Friday commencing at 6:30AM, working 9.5/10/5 hour days. Your main responsibilities will include;

Working on various road and infrastructure projects

Assisting pipe/drainage crew with various duties

Filling Sandbags

Prepping trenches for pipe installation

Operate demolition equipment (saws, jackhammers, drills) to cut and break up concrete or pavement

Install and remove temporary fencing, traffic barriers, safety fencing, silt fencing and other safety / environmental controls

Unloading materials and preparing for the next day

Construct concrete structures -manholes, chambers, pits, headwalls
