Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is seeking an organised, commercially minded individual to join our team in a role spanning cost estimating, project scheduling and project administration. You will work closely with senior leadership and an experienced operations manager, gaining exposure to commercial and operational sides of project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil construction, estimating, project coordination or construction administration.
• Understanding of project costs, quantities, materials and subcontractor pricing.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Confident communication with suppliers, subcontractors and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Preparing cost estimates covering quantities, materials, labour and subcontractor pricing.
• Assisting with project scheduling, resource allocation and delivery timeframes.
• Monitoring project costs and assisting with variations and progress tracking.
• Coordinating suppliers, subcontractors, material orders and procurement.
• Managing purchase orders, invoices and supplier documentation.
• Assisting with progress claims, project records and general administration.
• Working closely with the operations team to coordinate project requirements.
• Providing support across both office and site environments.
