Job summary

Quickway Constructions is offering an Undergraduate Civil Engineer placement at our Burleigh Waters site in Queensland. You will join the Cassowary Drive Bridge Replacement project, gaining hands-on exposure to site engineering, quality assurance, planning and project controls while you complete your degree.

This role suits 3rd or 4th year students with a positive attitude, strong communication, willingness to learn, and full working rights in Australia.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
• In 3rd or 4th year of study.
• Able to travel to Burleigh Waters project site.
• White Card holder.
• Driver's Licence required.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site-based engineering and construction activities.
• Support quality assurance and project documentation.
• Learn construction methodologies and planning.
• Participate in safety and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and supervisors.
• Assist with site inspections and reporting.
• Support quantity tracking and progress monitoring.
• Assist survey and set-out activities.
• Support contract administration and project controls.
