Job summary

Shadforth is seeking motivated Civil Engineering students and graduates to kick-start their careers in Queensland. You will gain exposure in our Project Delivery and Estimating teams, working with experienced Managers and Engineers on major residential, commercial and infrastructure projects.

This role offers hands-on experience, professional development, and a clear career pathway in civil construction. Undergraduate students can work 2-3 days per week around university schedules, while

Qualifications

• Current Civil Engineering student or recent graduate.
• Undergraduate students available 2-3 days per week.
• Graduate Engineers available to work full-time.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineers, Site Engineers and Estimators with delivery and planning of civil construction projects.
• Support project planning, programming and coordination activities.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress.
• Assist with tender preparation, quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
• Support procurement, project cost tracking and reporting.
• Assist with quality assurance documentation and project reporting.
• Build strong relationships with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
• Contribute to a safe and productive work environment.
