Job summary

Bright Balustrading Pty Ltd is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician for ongoing construction and maintenance projects in the Sydney Metropolitan Area. This full-time role offers a salary of $90,000–$110,000 per year plus 12% Superannuation and requires at least seven years of relevant experience.

You will prepare sketches, estimate resources, review test reports, supervise activities, and ensure work complies with specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of work experience in a similar civil engineering role.
• Minimum qualification: Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing project proposals, quote and documentation.
• Estimating the material, labour and other resources costs
• Preparing sketches, charts, tabulations, plans and designs for construction works
• Evaluating and validating construction materials’ test reports
• Organizing and supervising work activities
• Interpreting work assignment instructions, applying appropriate procedures and selecting equipment
• Collecting and analysing data, and carrying out computations
• Examining construction project sites and arranging installation , maintenance and repair work and ensuring they are within specifications.
• Assessing actual material costs against the tender cost during the project construction phase.
