Job summary

Bright Balustrading Pty Ltd in the Sydney metropolitan area seeks a skilled Civil Engineering Technician with at least 7 years of experience to support ongoing construction and maintenance projects. The role offers full-time hours, 38 per week, and a salary range of AU$90,000–AU$110,000 plus 12% super.

You will assist with project proposals, estimates, drawings and site inspections, coordinate resources, review material test reports, and ensure work complies with specifications across multiple

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of work experience in a similar role.
• Sound discipline and effective communication skills.
• Willing to travel to different work sites on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing project proposals, quotes and documentation.
• Estimate material, labour and other resources costs.
• Prepare sketches, charts, plans and designs for construction works.
• Evaluate construction materials’ test reports.
• Organise and supervise work activities.
• Interpret work instructions and select equipment accordingly.
• Collect and analyse data and perform computations.
• Inspect construction sites and arrange installation, maintenance and repair work within specifications.
• Assess actual material costs against tender costs during construction.
