You will contribute to cost estimates, ensure compliance with specifications and regulations, and help deliver high-quality outcomes on civil, infrastructure, commercial and residential projects.

Qualifications

• AQF Diploma level or higher in a relevant field.
• 1 year of relevant experience, or 3 years' full-time experience in lieu of formal qualification.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Shotcrete Australia Pty Ltd is an Australian owned and operated leading provider of ground engineering and shotcrete solutions across civil, infrastructure, commercial and residential construction projects. We specialise in retaining systems, ground engineering applications and structural shotcrete applications, working closely with builders, engineers, and developers from early design through to delivery. We are seeking motivated and skilled full time Civil Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team, based in Sydney, NSW & Greater Brisbane, QLD.

About the Role

The Civil Engineering Technician will provide technical support to the construction teams by conducting tests of construction materials, preparing sketches and documentation for civil engineering works, assisting with material cost estimates, and ensuring works are completed in accordance with specifications, regulations and contract requirements. You will work collaboratively with engineers, project managers and site teams to support the delivery of practical, high quality outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum AQF Diploma level relevant qualification or higher and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Or alternatively, three years of full time relevant experience in lieu of formal qualification.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail, technical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
