WorkPac is seeking a Civil Engineer to join a Newcastle-based consultancy delivering urban development and council infrastructure projects under a flexible 4-day working arrangement. You will contribute to stormwater, drainage, and road design while coordinating with local councils and a Newcastle Principal Civil Engineer for mentorship and career growth.

The role offers stability and a high-volume regional pipeline.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 3 to 8 years of post-graduate experience within Australian civil consulting.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D or 12D software for land development and infrastructure design.
• MUSIC and DRAINS experience highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of local Newcastle and Hunter region council planning frameworks.
• Proven background in subdivisions, road design, and stormwater management systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and team coordination.

About the Position

• Design and deliver urban development, subdivision, council, and commercial site projects.
