PCR Talent is recruiting a Civil Engineer for Sydney with 3-5 years' experience in urban development. You will work on diverse urban development, commercial and building-related civil engineering projects, contributing to design, drainage and infrastructure planning.

You will liaise with clients and authorities, develop your project-management and client-relations skills, and progress toward Senior Civil Engineer within 12–18 months in a supportive, nationally recognised consultancy.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of civil engineering experience, preferably in an Australian consultancy.
• Experience in urban development or building-related civil projects.
• Knowledge of stormwater, roads and pavements is desirable.
• Proficiency with Bentley, 12D, or Civil 3D software is advantageous.

The Opportunity

You will work alongside experienced engineers on a diverse range of urban development, commercial and building-related civil engineering projects.

Your involvement will include:

• Civil engineering design across urban development and building projects.
• Stormwater drainage, roadworks, pavements and associated civil infrastructure.
• Preparing design documentation, technical reports and specifications.
• Coordinating with architects, structural engineers and other design consultants.
• Liaising with clients, councils and relevant authorities.
• Assisting with project delivery, design coordination and technical problem-solving.
• Developing your experience in project management, client relationships and commercial project delivery.

Ideally, you will bring:

• 3-5 years of civil engineering experience, preferably within an Australian engineering consultancy.
• Experience in urban development, land development or building-related civil engineering projects.
• Sound knowledge of stormwater drainage, roads, pavements and associated civil infrastructure.
• Experience with Bentley civil design software, 12D or Civil 3D would be advantageous.
• Exposure to MUSIC or DRAINS would be an added benefit, although not essential.
• Strong technical problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence communicating with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders.
• A genuine ambition to develop your career towards Senior Civil Engineer level.
