Job summary

The Shire of Campaspe in Echuca invites applications for a Civil Engineer to support planning, design and delivery of infrastructure projects including subdivision development, road construction and drainage networks.

You will hold a Civil Engineering degree, have design experience, be eligible for Engineers Australia, and be proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD. A Working with Children Check and Police Check are required.

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Demonstrated civil engineering design experience.
• Eligible for Engineers Australia membership.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD drafting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; conflict resolution.
• Victorian Working with Children Check.
• National Police Check and valid Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for planning, design and delivery of infrastructure projects.
• Conduct engineering investigations for subdivisions, roads and drainage.
• Support the Engineering Team with project documentation and compliance.

Remuneration: $80,211.56 to $92,509.76 + superannuation & leave loading

About the Role

The Civil Engineer in within the Engineering Team, in this role you providing technical support and conducting engineering investigations to support the planning, design, and delivery of infrastructure and development projects, including subdivision development, road construction, and drainage networks.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
• Demonstrated engineering design experience within the civil engineering field.
• Eligible for membership with Institution of Engineers Australia.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (words & excel) and AutoCAD Drafting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Victorian Working with Children Check.
• Valid National Police Check and Driver's Licence.
