Job summary

RecruitR Pty is seeking a Civil Drafter to join a well established consultancy in Queensland. You will produce technical drawings using AutoCAD, maintain time sheets, and liaise with Senior Drafters and Engineers on civil urban infrastructure projects.

You'll be nurtured by mentors, work on long-term projects, and enjoy a supportive, flexible environment with bi-annual bonuses and profit sharing as part of the team.

Qualifications

• Relevant civil engineering/cad qualifications.
• At least 1-3 years experience+ in civil drafting for civil urban infrastructure/land development projects; prior experience within south east Queensland projects is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail - quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, to prepare technical drawings.
• Keeping time sheets and recording time on tasks.
• Liaise with Senior Drafters and Engineers.
• Ensure final documents comply with regulations and quality standards.
• Review and identify potential construction issues from construction drawings.
• Working with engineers and other professionals to produce drawings to meet their specifications.
• Ensuring all drawings are accurate and meet industry standards.
• Updating existing drawings as new information becomes available.
• Maintaining a library of standard drawing templates.
• Preparing and maintaining document transmittals.

What is the Role - Civil Drafter
