Queensland Government is seeking a Construction Worker (Supervisor) to oversee civil infrastructure projects across all phases, ensuring on-time delivery and quality outcomes. The role emphasizes strong leadership, team coaching and effective liaison with clients and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will manage project teams, monitor daily records, and coordinate resources while promoting safe practices and adherence to policies.

Formación

• Pre-employment medical assessment required.
• Current Queensland C-class driver's licence or equivalent.
• Certificate III in Civil Construction with Leadership and Management competencies, or ability to acquire within 36 months.
• Participation in Civil Trades Development Program (CTDP) to gain competencies.
• Compliance with RoadTek/TA Policy including drug and alcohol testing.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise civil infrastructure projects through all phases of the project cycle.
• Assist in effective supervision and utilization of resources to achieve outcomes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders and project team.
• Liaise with client, stakeholders and project team to deliver outcomes.
• Provide coaching to team members to support skills development.
• Manage the project team and daily project records.
• Ensure labour, plant and equipment availability meets delivery demands.
• Implement staff performance systems to monitor on-site performance.
• Support employees undertaking Civil Trades Development Program with skilling opportunities.
